Today was our second weekday run. It was 5 miles again - and hard again! It was so hot and humid this morning. I was really having a tough time of it today, and felt pretty sick to my stomach in the last mile. I was talking with another runner and she said that you have bad and good weeks - so I'm hoping that this is a bad week.
The good news is that it's probably as hot as it's going to get. Hard to believe that the temperature is at 85 at 5:30 in the morning!
We have the "Too Hot to Handle" on Saturday. The exciting part is that there is a "cold" front hitting Texas tomorrow!!!! YIPPEE!!! This means that even though we are starting at 7:30 on Saturday (which is late for us), it probably won't be above 80. The high on Saturday is 92. Now I know that doesn't sound much like a "cold" front, but given the over 100 weather over the last 2 weeks, it's a very welcome change.
Saturday should be fun. There's apparently going to be sprinklers available for us to run through and water stops every 2 miles. I'll try to bring a camera to take a pictuer of our group (maybe a before pic).
